Micah J. Schreurs joined the firm in 2001. His field of practice is general practice, including, but not limited to, adoption law, agricultural law, municipal law, wills and probate, real estate, education law, employment law, and litigation.
Micah was born in Sioux Center, Iowa, in 1974, and graduated from Dordt College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. In 2000, he received his Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa, graduating with High Distinction. While in law school, Micah was elected to the Order of the Coif and published a piece in the Journal of Corporation Law.
Micah was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2000 and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa. From 2000 to 2001, Micah served as a law clerk with the Iowa Court of Appeals. Micah is currently the president of the O'Brien County Bar Association, a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Iowa Association for Justice, the City Attorney for the City of Sheldon, and the County Attorney for O'Brien County.
