John F. De Hoogh, Attorney


John "Jack" F. De Hoogh joined the firm in 1978. His field of practice is general practice including, but not limited to, collections law, wills and probate, tax returns, real estate, workers' compensation, social security disability, and personal injury.

Jack was born in Ainsworth, Nebraska, in 1944.
He earned his undergraduate degree at Western Washington State College in 1967. After graduating from college, he served as a member of the United States Armed Forces from 1968 to 1971. He then attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1973.

Jack was admitted to the Mississippi bar in 1973 and the Iowa bar in 1974. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa and the United States Tax Court. Jack has been the Sheldon City Attorney since 1982. He is also a current member of the O'Brien County Bar Association and the Iowa State Bar Association.
